Dan has been a member of the firm for over six years, and has been a practicing attorney since 1994. Before attending law school, Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Carleton College and worked as a legislative aide in Madison. Dan graduated cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1993. During law school, Dan participated in the Legal Assistance to
Institutionalized Persons clinical program and interned in the Kenosha County District Attorney's office. Dan limits his practice to criminal and traffic defense and criminal appeals. In 1997, Dan presented oral argument to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and won the appeal. He is a member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Dan is also the regional co-coordinator for the Wisconsin High School Mock Trial Tournament and serves as an alumni representative for Carleton College. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, bowling, and attending Packer, Badger and Brewers sporting events. Dan lives in the Fox Cities with his family.
